Today was a slow day. Discussed with Tony about applying important ideas from the annotated bibliography I prepared over break. Most importantly, digging deeply into von Ahn's idea of games with a purpose and the combining of an activity that someone is already doing with another one that provides benefit (e.g. recaptcha, in which people transcribe books while verifying they are human). Want to see how this combination idea can work into my combination of geocaching and citizen science, with my different data types and with the fact that the data that is being gathered is always changing. Even though this data is always changing, some of it can be seen as a vector, where once a value is known, the future path is predictable to a certain degree.
Began rereading over von Ahn's work as well as some other crowdsourcing lit. Tomorrow will continue down this path.
