As I start updating my related work section (2.3), I have realized some of this is hard to do without knowing what will be in Chapter 3. Specifically, I am unsure whether I will discuss ideas I generated that were not in my implementation. For example, with validation I had ideas for more verbose ways of validating data (games, image sorting, etc).
I have a few options on how I could proceed:
- Cite broadly and prune things down after chapter 3.
- Cite narrowly and add things later.
- Outline chapter 3 now and get all my ideas in order.
What do you guys think about the extra ideas and how I should go about this?
