Tony Meeting Update

Today Tony and I discussed what needs to be proved for my research, and how to prove it. Here are some highlights:

• Problems to solve:
• Citizen scientists have little training which limits what they can do
• Data collected by citizen scientists is untrusted and has errors.
• Questions to answer:
• Does cache-based training cause the collection of more valid data?
• training cache vs classic ways vs (?) expert
• Can volunteers validate information?
• Can complex tasks be performed through geocaching aspects and mobile devices?
• For next week:
• Scenarios where validation happens a lot!
• 3+ complex tasks we will have people do.
