I spent part of the day today preparing my slides and talk for the madness Wednesday. After this, I explored what physical objects can be left at a geocache for use, and found some possibilites in the realm of plants.
I also explored what objects could be transported between geocaches. This falls in line with travel bugs, which geocachers move between caches with specific goals (e.g. keep this travel bug in Calgary -or- get this travel bug to Ottawa). One possible citizen science travel bug could be an air quality sensor, traveling around to get an average for an area.
Tomorrow I will present my madness and tune it, followed by some more work along the thoughts outlined here.
