Crowdsourcing?

Am currently doing more edits to ch 1 & 2, specifically making sure the wording I use in both chapters is exactly how I want it. One thing that stood out is my overarching research question in Chapter 1:

How can we use mobile technology, crowdsourcing and aspects of geocaching to inspire and design new solutions for citizen science’s problems with data collection, volunteer training, data validation and volunteer coordination?

I feel that while crowdsourcing has informed my work in many ways, this was not the research goal of my work. Also, some of the ideas I had on how crowdsourcing could inform my ideas will not be discussed in my Chapter 3. I have removed it from the research question. Am curious if this seems reasonable.
